Hi All,
my case number is 2014AS00004xxx and KCC had received my initial forms on May 16th (signed by Tcampbell). but till now i have not received any notification for interview. is there any way to be informed of status of my case (& approximate interview date) except sitting and waiting for the appointment letter?
whether they will send the letter to the postal address i had used in registration date or the address i had used in forms 230 & 80148.

Your case number is not current yet so it is not a surprise that you haven't heard anything. You will get an email from KCC ONLY when the visa bulletin says your case is current (i.e. the published number for AS exceeds your number. The latest bulletin has AS2500, so it will be a while yet before you're current (probably the November or December VB for December/January interview).
How did your interview go?

It's hard to be accurate about that. CEAC provides the data but not all embassies use CEAC - so that would leave some guesswork. USCIS will update the stats later, but I don't think anyone outside of KCC could tell whether there are 500 or 5000 left....
