Dv-2013 asian winner

How long is the validity of Certificate of Good Conduct/ Police Report? Six months or a year? Since the cut-off number is so slow this time around, my interview is no where in sight. And I hope this report that I just got is valid long enough for the interview. Or else, I would need to apply again and it takes 2 months to get it.
 
In Indonesia the so-called police record certificate is good for 6 months only, your country might be different.

I have a confusion regarding Police clearance

I am from Srilanka, presently i am working in Qatar.

See below for my place of residence and period

From Birth to 25- March-2011 - Srilanka
26-03-2011 to 05-12-2011 - Qatar ( more than 8 months)
05-12-2011 to 31-12-2011 - Srilanka (1 month)
31-12-2011 to 15-06-2012 - Qatar (6 and 1/2 months)
15-06-2012 to 15-07-2012 - Srilanka (1 month)
15-07-2012 to present - Qatar (3 months)

do i want to apply 2 police clearance separately for Srilanka and Qatar?
or
Can i apply for the both country police clearance in srilanka police?

Kindly advice me..

Since you are doing consular processing, I strongly suggests that you read the Department of State DV selectee page:

Police clearance is needed for any country you stayed more than 6 months in after you turned 16 years old.

Correction:

"
IF
lived in a different country for more than <b>12<b> months

AND
was 16 years or older at that time

THEN the applicant needs a police certificate from…
the police authorities of that locality.
 
Hello guys,

my question is, if i got Affidavit of support form from someone else than which I've written in DS form first is there a problem? i mean the first person was unable to send me and there was not enough time to inform the KCC to change the address then i got it from another person, do you think that it will make some problem?
 
Hope they have cancelled the second lot of the edv 2013. that shows that more and more enteried which will get 2NL is from the first lot result. Hope the visa bulletin will chance its pattern from novermber 15.

this year is kind of similar to 2006 bulletin. that time the case number, available on July, was 7750 and the higher numbers were available on Aug. I think this year is also the same.
We should wait till Aug, unless sth good happens.
My case number is AS00008***. I'm so nervous because Aug will be so late and the chance of not getting the green card will be higher.
 
What is the minimum annual income need to sponsor a person in USA?
Because my sponsor willing to send the Affidavit of support form.. but he said his last year annual income is low..
Please can anyone advice?

Your case similar with me, anyone know the situation of DV-2006, DV-2007, what range of case number cannot get visa finally?

hi raja,,
i have the same problem, i have worked in Qatar from 2010 November to 2012 October and now i am in Sri lanka, how could we get the Qatar PCC now, have you got any idea to get it from being Srilanka??, did u meet colombo consular officers??, if u have met pleas shareyour expeiriences.

Call KCC and talk with them about the matter. They are very friendly people, you will have no problems whatsoever.
