DV-2011 Application

Hi,

Last year we were asked to upload a 5cmx5cm picture. Today I was looking at the instructions, and I could not find any mandatory size but the size in pixels (minimum 600x600px).

What does this mean? That we can take any picture we have and scan it with enough reoslution to get that size? I really don't know what to do, last year I spent 4 days taking pictures and none matched the instructions, I spent a lot of money just because the photographers could not do the exact meassures that I was asking. I did not receive any NL, so this year I do not want to think that may be I did not get the NL because of the photo.

Any suggestions guys? I want to do it well this time and at least in case I do not get a NL be relaxed thinking that was not a photo issue.

I will appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Hey All,

I just have a quick question. My sister was born in Belgium but she is not a belgian citizen (in Belgium, citizenship it is not automatic like in the US), she is citizen from another country, so are our parents and myself. She has a birth certificate from our country stating that she was born in Belgium. Her birth certificate identifies her as being from our country, she has a passport from our country, and is in the US as a F-1 student with a visa as a citizen from our country. What should she put on her DV application as far as country of chargeability? I am quite confused with that. Belgium is eligible as is our country.
