Dv-2010?

I'd just visit the official website and still not yet announce details in DV-2010, and normally it will introduce new DV on late August

I think it still have DV-2010 and not yet cancel, right?
 
From this year's Visa Bulletin (July 2008):

Only participants in the DV-2009 program who were selected for further processing have been notified. Those who have not received notification were not selected. They may try for the upcoming DV-2010 lottery if they wish.

hi i've got the NL of DV 2010 But got confused about few things . plz help me out solving these......

1.I'm single and received the white envelope on my name and I'm not residing in the USA.
so should I feel up only form DS -230 part1& 2 or both DS-230 and DSP-122?

2.I'm single and got the letter on my name so I've to feel-up a single copy of the forms (i e: only for me) or every members of my family(i e: 1 copy each for my mother,father & brother)?

3. Should I feel-up the forms by hand writing or I have to print the answers of each questions and then only put the signature by my hand?

4.should I send only my photo or each member of my family?

Please help me out brothers coz I've very little idea about the forms & English .And I'm staying in some part of the earth where I'll have none to help me. so please help.please write to :

Hi, I am Arifeen from Bangladesh a DV winner 2010, my case no:2010AS00011***. Just got my first letter last week. I have some questions plzz help me on that...

Q1. This is my last year of BBA but on DSP-122 item no# 6 asked for what is the highest level of education that I've complete...which on is right for me here... i) High School, No degree ii) High school Diploma iii) College, No degree iv) University Degree ?? so confusing

Q2. I am single so, how many photographs I have to attach on DSP-230 part1 and part2 ? should I have to attach 2 photos on two parts?

Q3. should I have to write my case number on the right top of the supplemental form also?

Q4. how much time I got for my first letter back to kcc, within 15 days ok for that?

plzz... reply early as possible, thanx a lot.

When are you completing this program? Are you sure to get the certificate by the time you CN becomes current? If yes, you can tick university degree.

Attach only 1 photograph to the two forms.

Q3. should I have to write my case number on the right top of the supplemental form also?

Yes, it's highly recommended. This is to ensure that it can be trace in case it mixed up with someones' documents.

Q4. how much time I got for my first letter back to kcc, within 15 days ok for that?

It's up to you. There is no rushing in submitting the forms.

The form clearly is stating High School diploma or equivelant and proof...if you haven't finished it or have but no proof...no chance on getting the GC.


If you are getting your BBA I assume you have finished High School...
Soem one else wrote on this forum about his interview and how they weren't interested in the College papers only High School...

Yes, just fill out one copy for you. Your parents and siblings are not eligible for a green card as a dependent of you. Only your spouse and children under 21.

Just your picture taken according to the guidelines and not older than 6 months


btw feel up means something different, I would stick with fill out :D

Yep they mainly interested in yr high school diploma. If you do not yet posses the degree u do not yet have it. Use what u have completed and have a hard copy of with u. How quick u return yr forms depends on your case number. However my suggestion is as soon as you done send them through to KCC.
 
So you won and did your parents enter as well? My friend was entered on the parents lotery entry and on her own since she is under 21 and has her High school diploma from the USA and got it at a very young age. So enough proof, but it stinks that only she can apply for the GC since she won the NL, not her parents. If it was the other way around the whole family could have applied...now the family has to wait till they win or till she has the GC approx. 5 yrs from the dat of issue of the GC....weird...and sad for the family but at least one of them got it.

6,006 Nigerians win 2010 US DV lottery

THE United States (US) Mission in Nigeria has said the country ranked second in the number of winners of the US 2010 Diversity Visa (DV) lottery. Nigeria had 6,006 winning entries as against Ghana, with 8,752 winning entries, topping the list across the world.


Disclosing this, on Wednesday, was the Chief Consular Officer/Acting Consul General, Mr.Richard Walsh, who also announced the commencement of the registration for the 2011 DV lottery.


Walsh, at a media parley held at the Public Affairs Section of the US Consulate General’s office, Broad Street, Lagos, further disclosed that Bangladesh came third with a total number of 6,001 just as Ukraine came fourth with 5,499 winning applicants.

He, therefore, said for interested applicants for 2011 DV lottery, registration would hold between October 2 and November 30, adding that entries for the 2011 DV lottery must be submitted electronically.

He warned that paper entries would not be accepted by the United States government. Walsh emphasised the need for the applicants to ensure that all information provided on the entry form must be complete and accurate, adding that “applicants who provide false information about themselves or on behalf of others will be disqualified.”

All successful applicants, according to him, would be notified by electronic mail, adding that “applicants who keep their confirmation page information will be able to check their entry status online.”
