Hey folks,
I am positive this question has been asked and answered before, but I
can't find it. Anyway, here it is.
My cousin got the DV, passed the interview, and received a 6-month visa.
As she prepares to come to the US, she is faced with a few decisions.
She was sponsored by a relative who can't provide her with lodging and
support when she arrives here. So, it appears she will need to move in
with someone else.
1) Does my cousin have to fly to the location of her sponsor and stay there until she receives her Green Card or is she free to go anywhere in the US?
2) Does her port of entry have to be her sponsor's location?
3) Would the government do all her correspondence through sponsor's address or will she be able to change that address with ease?
Thanks in advance!!
