For you who still have long wait in front of them, please consider this. I know it is a long shot, but it is worth a try. Remember, it will start on November 5th and end on January 7th 2005. If somebody is lucky enough to get the GC through lottery, they could adjust to permanent resident in 2006.
Remember our old posts, you can have 2 I-485 application pending, so why not try. You never know who will get lucky (well I didn't for the past 8 years). My RD is December 28, so if everything goes well, I might have my GC by the October next year. However, I will play this just in case if these bozos find another excuse. It doesn't hurt. Good luck ..
