DV 2006 no second letter yet! Should I be worried?

I returned forms DS 122 ASAP after receiving the congratulation letter in July but have not received the second letter yet. I'm EU 9xxx. Is it too early or soemthing is wrong? I'm doing AOS. Also should I make any payments and/or medical exams now or wait for the letter?
Will I receive a letter from KCC at all or directly should apply to INS when my number becomes current?

when your # becomes current you will apply for AOS with USCIS. You should receive a receipt from KCC for your DSP-122.
