DV-2006 and petition for GC

Hi everyone, I have a question. In year 1999 my parents applied in behalf of mine for GC and unfortunately I'm still waiting and probably will be waiting for my GC for couple more years and I'm wondering if anybody knows if I can take a part in Green Card Lottery if I have already applied for GC?? or there are some legal restrictions about this that unable this to me. Thanks for your responses.

I second radosavd1, and am speaking from personal experience. I did participate in the past in the green card lottery even while I had a pending GC application.

you can even participate in a lottery, if you are already a resident of the States.
