Hi,
I have a valid B1/B2 visa till 2018. I travelled from my company on business visa for 64 days in Auguest 2010 and then came to US recently for 82 days in May 2011. As per my understanding, my visa allows me to stay here for maximum of 89 days per visit. However, since it is my 2nd visit in the same rolling year...does that mean that the embassy will consider my stay as 64+82 at the time of immigration? I have received a mail from relocation management system of my company stating that I have exceeded the duration. However, i am pretty sure that US embassy allows 89 days per visit irrespective of the fact that it is in same rolling year. I have a Multiple entry visa too and the stamp by US embassy when i came here in May 2011 states that I can be here till August 6th 2011. Please confirm if my assumption is right?
