duplicate 485 receipt

Can we request INS directly to issue a duplicate 485 and 140 receipts (797 notice of action) for pending 485 and approved 140?

The lawyer is not cooperating in sending copies (changed employers).

I know that BCIS will issue the replacement I-485 receipts if you have lost it my mail. Its very unlikey that they will issue duplicate I-485. The best way to check is call the National Info center
