Dues from Previous Employer

I am on H1B.
I changed from company A to company B as company A was not paying me on time, paying less than agreed and for bench period did not pay me.
Now I have changed my employer and I am with company B.
I want to get my dues from company A.
What steps should I take ?
Also, kindly advise me on if my complaint can create any problem with my GC / Dependent visitor /H4 visas which is in process.

many have done this, many companied paid past wages and were fined by DOL
