My wife is a Canadian citizen, and she will be eligible for US citizenship by 2012. She is currently on a green card. Can she keep her Canadian citizenship as well as U.S.?

Yes. There are many dual Canadian-US citizens on this forum, including me. It's common, not a big deal at all.
