Dual Citizen wanting to do AOS for DV2008....strange case...need your help!

I am a dual citizen (Canada/Argentina) and was selected for the DV 2008 lottery. My case number is SAxxxx300 which is current as at October 2008.

I am now visiting the States (entered Sept 14/2008 via Buffalo using my Canadian passport) and would like to do AOS. I consulted 2 lawyers and they agree that I can do and qualify for AOS, claiming that I am legal in the country using my Canadian entry (up to 6 months).

Before I go head this route, I would like to consult with the forum:

  1. Has someone experience something similar?
  2. Should I encounter any difficulty doing AOS using my Canadian entry to the country while claiming my winning number as an Argentine?
  3. Do I need to wait 3 months from my entrance to the USA before I send my AOS application?

Any other general information you can provide me will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Thanks,

you would find it much easier doing CP in canada than trying to mess with AOS here in the states
