Hi kms,

what address should I write in item # 13 (Present Address) column, US address or India address.
As in many post I see they asked us to write India address.
Please let me know asap.

Your Present Address

Item 13 is for Current address. Item 10 is the address where you are planning to live in US and item 11 for the green card mailing address.
So write your current address in #13. Thats what I think...I think its same for all Consulates
 
Write your Indian Address.

I just appeared for IV interview in India. The person collecting documents asked all the candidates to fill this form again as they had not put their Indian address in DS230 part 1 item # 13. At rest of the places you can fill your US address.

Filling Indian address in item # 13 will also help you get your packet 4 at Indian address faster as compared to your US address.

While we are discussing this form here is another question on item # 25.

When mentioning all your previous visits to the US the forms asks for certain INS "A" numbers of your visas. Any idea what these "A" numbers are when I can find them ?
