Dear Bosses,

I hope this question meet you all well. Please, I want you all to enlight me on this issue.

I was in born Benin republic and my mom also born in Benin but my father was born in Nigeria. So I have two passports, one from my native country and another from my father's country.

So in DS260 there's where they asked this "Do you hold or have you held any nationality other than the one you have indicated above?"


What should be my answer?

If you have a Nigerian passport you presumably have Nigerian nationality too, so the answer is yes.
 
Why does your Nigerian passport not have your birth place in Benin Republic listed on it? Which birth certificate did you present to obtain your Nigerian passport, a Nigerian birth certificate, I’m guessing?

Anyways, that means one of your passports has fake information on it, which is obviously why you’re so concerned about disclosing your “second” nationality considering Nigeria is not eligible for DV lottery.
 
So what should I do in that regard? Moreover the passport has been expired, is there a must I disclose it?
Will they know if I don't?

Not sure what you mean by "the informations there is not tally". You need to answer the below specific questions:

1. If you were born in Benin Republic, why does your Nigerian passport not have your birth place in Benin Republic listed on it?
2. Which birth certificate did you present to obtain your Nigerian passport?

Thanks for your time and attention.

I didn't use birthday certificate as at the time getting the passport. I claimed my father's town as a place of birth. I didn't have much knowledge about the whole thing as at then. I am just realizing now.
 
It is not possible for you to apply for and obtain your first Nigerian passport without a birth certificate. You must have presented a birth certificate. I cannot help you for as long as you continue to lie.
