Just wanted to hear your opinion about the following things concerning DS-260
1. I was once in USA. I entered on J1 visa, but later (in USA) I have changed the status to B1 to stay a little longer. My change of status was aproved and I left USA few months later. In my passport I have only J1 visa, because the change of status to B1 was on I-797 form (application to change nonimigrant status).
Now I have a concern when filling out the section "Previous US Travel Information", because my last visa is J1, and the length of stay is few months more than the J1 prohibits. What do you think should I do in this case? There is no extra field to explain this situation.
2. In DS-260 there is no option to select "qualify me because of education/ qualify me because of work experience". How will they know which factor we choose? Was there any selection like this when we entered the lottery (I do not remeber that forms we filled).
3. I was working in USA on J1 visa. It was a long time ago and I don't remember exact dates (employment date from, employment date to). DS-260 form lists DD MM YYYY. Will it be a problem if I put my best estimate or should I explain somewhere that I do not remember it exacly?
