I would like to ask you a question about DS-230 part 1.
On question 35, which is:
35. List dates of all previous visits to or residence in the United States. (If never, write "never") Give type of visa status, if known.

I was a student for 4 years in the USA on a F-1 Visa and I wanted to know if I should include all the times I entered and exited the US while being a student?
Or does being a student means I had residence and then I dont need to specify all the times I left and reentered the country?
I dont remember exactly all of them because I traveled a lot from France to the USA so it may not be accurate. I could go back to france for as little as 10 days...

Thank you very much for your help

if it was four years continous without any intruption, then just say the duration and your visa, you don't have to say how maney times you were out AS long as you kept the condition of being student during that period

Your passport should have the arrival/departure records if you want to include all the dates you entered and exited the country as a valid F1 holder.

I listed all of them on a seperate page. Pulled info from frequent flyer records, passport stamps, itineraries, company calendar/email etc. I would list whatever you can find.

Thx for these answers

Unfortunately I have a new passport and then dont have any of the stamps anymore.
I could try to remember when and where I went back but It would be "guesses" and very approximate.
I did not keep track of all this, tickets, emails etc.... They were so old I put them in the gargabe =)

what you are saying makes sens to me to and I hope it's fine =)

The thing is that I already sent everything...
This question 35 was on a separate sheet of paper because I had many visits anyway.
Maybe I should send a new sheet to re answer to question 35? or leave it like this..
I'll try to email the embassy because KCC was not able to answer me :(
thx guys!!
