DS-160 Application Dilemma

Hello,

I will be filling the DS-160 form for myself to apply for the H-1B visa and also will be adding on my Finances for a H4 after I am done with my application, so that we both can have the interview at the same time slot.

My Question is: I am single now, but my VISA appointment will be after I get married, so should I mention "MARRIED" or "SINGLE" for myself and my Fiancée in the DS-160 form?

All your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,

------------- you will write SINGLE as you are NOT married on the date you submit the Form DS-160.Fiancée is NOT eligible for H4. Spouse and children of Primary H1 holder is eligible for H4. Why don't you apply after you get married? Or you can apply now and your spouse can apply later when you get married and she gets marriage certificate

and my Fiancée in the DS-160 form?

All your help is greatly appreciated.

my opinion, you can mention yourself as married . you should have your marriage certificate and Marriage Photos ready by the time of your interview.

You are wrong. OP is NOT married on the day he is sending DS-160. He cant write married. He should write married if he is married.
