Hi!
Is a visitor to the USA allowed e.g. to drop off their résumé/CV off at the headhunters, or even at a company while visiting the US on a B1/B2 visa? Of course, without any intention to stay on on a continuous basis while on the visitor visa and returning before the I-94 expires?
Or would this be a violation of the non-immigrant assumption? One of my friends did this way back in 2003 and is worried now that he may have violated the law albeit he has visited twice since then.
Any advice, particularly a substantiated one by somebody deeply aware of this would be really appreciated.
