Driving in USA for visitor

Hi
My father has got IDP (International Driver Permit). Should I take insurance for him when he drives my car in US ? if so, then please give me some details at the earliest.

Yes, your father should have insurance to drive.

Tell your current car insurance guy that you wanted to include father also in the insurance list (also tell that he have international license)

This might cost little more to your current insurance amount.
