I'm a Canadian student who was on a J-1 visa for the last 4 years attending school in Michigan. During that time, since I lived there for school and worked there as a co-op student for the entire 3 years, I bought a U.S. Car. I now have a SS#, MI Driver's License, Bank account, credit cards, etc all of US property. I will be switching to a F-1 non-commuting canadian visa. Can I still take my car and travel back and forth between the two countries with my American Car?
