Driving from US to Canada for a visit while in TN status

Hi,

My fiancee (a US Citizen) and I are planning on renting a car in the US and driving across the border to Montreal soon for a weekend vacation. She does not have a driver's license so I would be renting and driving the car. I have a valid TN visa until 2011 and NY State Driver's license and was wondering if I could face any issues:

1) Getting into Canada driving an American rental car
2) Coming back into the US as a Canadian citizen with an American rental car
3) Coming back into the US with a TN visa and America fiancee, which could be construed as intent to immigrate to the US permanently.

Do you think any of these will become serious issues? Should we continue with this plan or take the bus or fly instead? Thanks for any advice.

1. No problem if you have NY state DL.
2. No problem, However, having a US fiancee technically makes any entry into US without fiancee visa tricky. They could tell you to stay in canada and get K visa, which would cost you your job fpr several months. So play down the fiancee aspect.
3. see 2.
