I'm trying to find out information on what the law is regarding issuing driver's licenses to H1B visa holders in the State of Florida.
I've been notified by the Florida DMV that as an H1B visa holder, my driver's license is temporary and only valid for one year, and must be renewed annually at the same fee that citizens pay for a four year renewal...
Doesn't seem right to me, but that doesn't mean it's not accurate.
I'm a Canadian citizen working in Florida...
