driver's license extension

Folks,

Is there any problem to extend driver's license in NJ in a situation when DL expiry date = H-1B expiry date. H-1B extension has been filed but approval expected about 2 months after DL/old H-1B expiry date ? All I have is H-1B extension filing receipt notice.

One of friend New Jersey did the renewal of DL with his H1b filing receipt notice. So there won't be a problem if you have receipt with you.
 
folks, sorry for multiple posting - for some reasons, I am trying to post it in NJ Labor and it keeps showing up in the main folder.
 
Tamil, any idea which MVS office he/she went to and how much time did he/she get extension for ?

My friend had problem in getting extension of DL in NJ in Aug 2003. He had to take 3 weeks off, but his company(a real cool Indian firm), allowed him to use cabs. He used cabs even for going movies!!! :D

You reminded me my olden days when I used my company cab to go to social security office on the way back went to bar and got chilled out. :)

You went to bar - good that you did not get on to Rt 35, close to Edison, NJ or sandy hook. :D That would have been too much for your employer.

You and me can still can go to that place (:p) if we can finish the bollywood movie "GC in Jar by xmljar" or we can ask our assur to sponsor from his "SUGARCANE form INC".
