Drivers licence and interview

Do we have to have CA driver's licence for the AOS interview? I have an out of state driver's licence and it takes about 1 year to get CA driver's licence. I am worried if the officer will know and understand this. Did anyone in a similar situation have any issues?
 
It doesn't matter which state's DL you have. They don't care.

If you are still worried about it, show them your passport instead of DL.
 
you can get a identity card from DMV. They ask for DL.
