Driver ticket and GC receiving

Hello to everyone!

I'm a political asylee and I have a question.

I received a ticket a few months ago. I entered to a beach (there was no prohibit sign), where a cop give me the ticket.
Recently I received confirmation that I have to pay a fee ($475 by the way). I had some diffirent options (pay fee or go to a court) so I choose the court hearing. I thought that probably judje understand arguments in my defence. The court hearing will be in the mid of July 2011. In the end of July 2011 I will can apply for a GC.

And the question is - how the ticket could prevent the GC receiving. Because I'm really worry about this.

A lot of thanks for all!

This has nothing to do with your GC application. I think you worry too much. Traffic tickets have no impact on immigration benefits unless you have DUI or arrest warrant (unpaid tickets, etc)

would that include getting a criminal court summon for riding a bike on a sidewalk in NYC? In nyc, they give out pink summons or criminal court summons for riding a bike on a sidewalk.
