Driver license renewal in Atlanta

My 485 is pending with VSC. My H-1 has expired.

Do you know what documents need to be taken for the driver license renewal in Atlanta? I have read earlier after 9-11 that it has become very difficult to get a DL renewal and so I am asking this. Also can someone who is from Atlanta give their experience on where to take the appointment and the whole procedure involved for the DL. I stay in Alpharetta.

I've renewed a DL twice in the past 3 years without any form of immigration paperwork.
 
TheRealCanadian, can you tell me where you got your DL renewed? Did you take an appointment before going there? I know they used to issue DL's in Kroger stores. Are they still doing that?
