I'm starting this thread to post latest times at the DOS.

Mine was recieved by DOS on March 31st and still no decision.

Please post your times here. Specially if your case was recieved by DOS in Feb/Mar.

my application was received by dos on March 25...status just got changed to "favorable recommendation" today (April 21)

LC with special handling- tracking the case at DOS

I had appllied for LC with special handling (university professor) in December 2004. Tradionally it is supposed to be fast tracked because of the special handling situation. Any tips on how to track this at the Backlog centers? My lawyer says that there is no way of tracking cases at the backlog centers.
Please help. My spouse is running out of his H1 duration of 6 years and he is dependant on me for getting my LC and filing for the EAD.

I got the favorable recommendation.

:) my case was received to the DOS on April 19. and got my favorable recommendation today but letter was sent on May 12. good luck to all the J1 waiver people. i hope you can get yours too, soon.

Which USCIS center it was sent to?

What does your lawyer say if your H1B will make it by June 30th? My lawyer has no clue.

:rolleyes: I think my case was sent to Vermont SC. and my lawyer told me probably i can make H1b by June 30th. i hope he is right on this.
