hello, i had my interview to get the U.S.residence a month ago.I wasnt sure if I
am subject to 212, so I applied for the ADVISORY OPINION and today I checked online and it says that DOS is finding that I am not subject to 212.
The immigration officer asked me for a waiver that day that i had my interview .So, my question is :Do I still need to apply for a waiver after US.DOS found that I am not subject to 212?
please if u guys have any experience about this ,help me.
Also, i dont want to go against the immigration officer told me that I need a waiver , but I need to know if I need to apply for the waiver after DOS said that I am not subject???
thanks
:)

make an infopass appointment, talk to an immigration officer, show them the advisory opinion, you don't need a waiver. You can also send a copy of it with a cover letter to your local district office explaining the situation.
