Hi Rainman,
Here is my experience with DORA interview.
Our infopass appointment was set to 10:45am. We arrived around 10:10am. Showed our infopass appointment letter to the security officer and went through the security check ( very similar to the one in the airports). Then the security officer told us to submit the appointment letter in the middle basket. After 15-20 mins, they called our name. Asked who was the petitioner, if i was U.S citizen, and asked for my DL. She also asked for my husband's status (h1b) and his passport and photo id ( Texas DL). She made copies of both our DL's and took his passport.
She flipped through our forms and supporting documents and said it would take the immigration officer another 10 mins or so to look through these. After another 15 mins, they called us again, gave us a letter and returned my husband's passport. The letter had another appointment time (2:15pm) and she told us to return half an hour before that time.
We returned around 1:30pm. Around 2:30pm, the adjudicator called out our name and we followed her to her office. She was very pleasant. Congratulated us on our new wedding. She swore us in.
She asked us the following questions in conversation
1) How and When did we meet?
2) Did we have a big wedding or a short ceremony?
3) my husband about his job and the company and how much travel?
4) about my job and the position
5) both of us to tell her each other's birth dates
6) both of us our SSN and cell phone numbers
7) my husband if he was arrested, deported or if he is a terrorist
8) both of us, if he has moved in completely, unpacked.
9) About his parents, my family how i came to u.s and became citizen
10) him about the last time he entered U.S
11) our recommendation of a good indian restaurant in richardson ( since i live here)
And that was all. She told us to wait for the fingerprinting letter and get that done as soon as we can.
We were both so relieved and excited. Hope yours goes just as well.
