Dont Look for Emails , you get your card in mail

Please look at my signatature. I applied GC in 2004 and got first stuck in Retro and then in double name checks etc...
I was casually calling NSC asking them what is the status of my case. They said that they approved for card printing yesterday.

No LUD, No status change or Email. But per NSC IO, it is approved. Now I am left to wait for the card in the physical mail.

In the meanwhile, my wife is outside US to her home country. Hers is also approved per IO. But she left with AP. Does it create any problem while she returns to the US?

Please let me know.

Like other members in this group, I spent several days with anxiety,depression, etc. I feel sorry for all our waiting folks here. Even I get my card, I plan to visit this site reguarly till visa becomes unavailable so that I can give my cents worth to GC waiting folks.

I really like this forum which has helped in learning, crying over sholders etc.

Congrats, enjoy your freedom. I noticed your postings during the last couple of days, which expressed your anxiety, but now it will be a big relief :) . people whoever secured their respective GC's through employment base route in this decade, will never forget DOL and DHS :mad: .

Same for me... No emails, LUDs. Called casually, and I was told that my 485 was approved.

Your wife should not have any probs... She can use the AP and come back and can also tell the immi guyz at the airport that her GC was approved while she was travelling. Anyway, they usually take the person coming back on AP to a room, make them sit there while they verify the status of the application.
