my boss gave me a copy of the document today. I thought it is just my labor but it turned out to be my I-140 approval.

very odd. I filed in Feb 14, 2004 (yes, 2004!) it is approved on March 10, 2004

I am not a nurse.

Congrats. Your one of lucky person. You should try lottery.

Did you check the USCIS website ??
if so is it updated??

extremely lucky

Congrats!. You are extremely lucky. Could you please let us know the size of the company and the type of business? That might have triggered a fast approval.

USCIS website is updated.

My company is a 7.9 bil revenue business but i don't think this is the reason. I have colleague still waiting. ( RD 2003) the company is all about financial information (computer stuff).

inPhilly, may be...

who knows, the immigration officer might have stocks in your company....just kidding!!!

My colleague filed I140 and I485 concurrent (EB2) at May 2003 , and his 140 was approved in exact 3 weeks. I filed the same stuff around same time, still waiting for ever.... it is nothing related to the company, it is purely luck....

When did you apply for you LC? Trying to figure out whether priority date is a factor.

Congrats. Looks your is case of early PD. Can you confirm your PD/state please?

it's Phila. PA Priority Date Oct 2003 (my file was lost in SESA and I re-sent the copies) I got 5 month delay on getting my LC.

PD is when SESA recvs your LC. Wasn't it Aug 29, 2002 - I saw in one of your posts.

Could you confirm is it was Oct 2003 ot Aug 29, 2002?

They lost my file. I got Oct, 2003 as PD. SESA RD is Aug 2003. The one you saw is not my case. It is for another guy in my company. I thought it is mine when I called. but got frustrated since.

I am leaving this part of the forum now. Thanks for being so supportive and informative. I wish you all good luck! See you in 485
