Mr Soldier,
No need to listen to all this jerks. You are in the military, your wife is here whether she got inspected or not does not really mean a thing, file for her green card, she would not get deported . There are thousands of cases like this, and yours is special, you are in the military. i have seen people become green card holders and then citizens all the time without being inspected
Mr Lagos,
What you just state above is bunch of rodeo bull. I would like you to attach links to cases of people who entered the country illegally and without inspection, married US citizens who served or currently serving in the military and we approved for a green card. In the absence of such irrefutable evidence from you, I would assume you just had too much pink soda. It would be contrary to the laws of the US, to clearly allow an immigration loophole which violates laws for the benefit of military people. In addition, it foolishly assume that US military men/women marry in significant numbers lot of EWI spouses. The OP ought to visit the immigration lawyers in the military who can provide legal advise looking at the totality of the case facts. I would like for him and his future-wife to have a successful resolution to her legal status quandary.
I believe the vast majority of people who posted in response to this case were advising him to engage an immigration lawyer. I advised him to specifically look at an I-601 lawyers, because it appears she's going to need one in this circumstance. The challenge for him is to prove hardship, because that's generally a high bar on such cases. Moreover, he needs to get his future bride to apply for a replacement Mexican passport because she seems not to have one (lost) it years ago. She is going to require to produce (2) forms of ID for a marriage license to be issued, depending on his state. As far as I know, FL only require a single form of ID.
