Don't celebrate it yet!!

It os very hard for me understand how they operate.
I send my package on june 1st, according to the new processing dates, will I have my approval on 3 months?
And the EAD would take 8 months? I mean it does not make any sense whatsoever

If USCIS's intention is to
1) Show that it has enough applications to use visa numbers for this fiscal year
OR/AND
2) Leech money from applicants such as Indians or Chinese in the form of EAD/AP fees
OR/AND
3) Estimate number of people waiting to apply for I-485
then it would never bother to even open the I-485 applications received after July 1, 2007.

Chances for data entry of all the received applications would be slim-to-none as data entry personnel would be limited or unavailable.
Once retrogression kicks-in, prehaps, things may change. But then eligible candidates should notify USCIS of their "current status".
