According to Project Kashmir 2, more than 4,500 people have got I-485 approved at the CSC since April 2004.

Also, about 100 approvals have been reported at this CSC I-485 forum every month.

Meanwhile, we have only 8 donations at this Donation-on-Approval Campaign so far.

Please don't hesitate to make a contribution to ImmigrationPortal.ORG.

IP.COM has been a tremendous resource over the last couple of years - special thanks to all the moderators - will be actively following what happens with the fund.

Hopefully we will see an eventual reduction in the length of time we have to wait before we can apply for US citizenship - like many people I have been living, working & paying significant taxes in the US since 1996.

As a side note, in Canada you have to wait 3 yrs after permanent residence before you can apply for citizenship - However, 50% of any time you spent working prior to perm residence approval, counts towards your 3 yr timeframe.
