Do you know what his stand on immigration is ?
Think about it, the real disasters to immigration happened during the clinton administration....
The democratic party is beholden to the unions. Historically, the unions have been the greatest enemies of immigration. The history of the labor certification process shows that it was mainly designed to keep factory owners from importing cheap irish labor. All the bizarre elements like posting jobs at the work site, are a reflection of this history.
For the sake of the world, I think replacing GWB is a priority. For the cause of immigrants, I am not sure whether Kerry holds much promise.

I know that they added a law that barred people with felony charges ineligible for Green Card/Naturalization. Also they accepted many illegal aliens into the country and "American Competetiveness in 21 century act".
What else happened in clinton's time ?? I know Kerry was originally opposed to outsourcing, but he recently changed his stance....

I think Bush has done great things for the immigrants ! The Green Card process also improved a lot if you compare with it 4 years back !

Many immigrants especially indians think democratic party is good for them ...Unless you are a illegal allien or a lazy guy living on Goverment welfare money a democratic president is no good for you .
Like it or not Kerry as other democrats is a anti business , pro union ,tax increasing liberal ... Him coming to power will hurt the economy , slow the legal immigration process by overloading USCIS with some stupid pardon sceme to illegal aliens ,increase taxes (if you make more than 60k now kerry's current tax plans will cost you atleast 3% more than what you pay to uncle sam now).
Dont mistaken me i dont like bush's stand in iraq or for that matter the patriot law but he is sure better than kerry .

There may not be much change in administration, who ever take's the hot seat, If democrats are back, there may be some chance of having funds to spend for STATE/ FED projects, Hopefull they won't plan to spend some more billion $, for IRAN war

if bush comes he has plans for privitasation of Social Security it is good for us
