I know that for domestic aiport travel all we need to carry is a Drivers license. But with the recent changes in aiport security procedures i wanted to throw out this question. Has anybody had had a bad expericence. I mean anyone at the airport asked for more documents or any other proof from asylee. Also, my wife doesn't have a Drivers licencse or RTD; which document would be good for her? Can i use her home country passport. Would there be a problem.Would Appreciate suggestions.

There is no problem. All the security restrictions you hear about are just overblown...Its very easy to travel. I travel twice a month and I never had anyone ask for my status. You can take any passport that matches your ticket name...Thats all..with your picture ofcourse.

If your wife can't get a DL..She can get a State Issued ID card which can also be used. I would prefer that rather than show a passport. Get an ID CARD for her, It can be very useful.
