Hi all,
My current company filed a prevailing wage determination in Dec 2022 and it is still pending with DOL. Hoping to get the PWD by June end, and considering 3 months for the recruitment process, my question is that once they file for PERM let's say in October 2023. will I be able to travel to India in December 2023 for my own wedding hoping that the PERM process will still be pending with USCIS until I come back in Jan 2024? I know while i-140 is filed, it's not advised to travel, but while the PERM is filed which takes around 6-9 months, can we travel and come back to the USA with a valid H1B visa which is valid till 2025 September?
Please provide some insights into this situation as I am stuck with the long wait in the PWD process, and not sure about my travel in December.
