Doe's USCIS usually send reminder to file I-751 ?? read what i got plz !!

my green card expire april 19 2009 ,and my file ready to be sent im just waitting for one more thing to add to the file and file by next week ....hopefully !!! is that problem or i still have time ???


amonth ago i received letter from USCIS stated :


OUR recored showed that u been granted permenant residence card on april 19 2007 .... you are required to file form I-751 jointly before your card expire . failure to do , will automatically terminate your status .


im just woundring that i have enough time to file ... i will file my form on jan 26 th 2009

any info will be appreciated

I have never heard USCIS send a reminder letter to file i-751 but it looks that they start to do it now. I read in another forum that someone got one letter same than you.

You have to send the I-751, 90 days before your conditional green card expire.

Small Correction; it has to be filed "within the 90 days just preceding the expiration date on your permanent residence card."
