Nope. US Govt does not inform foreign governments about naturalized citizens. Why it should? This would be non-sense, since US Government is a soverign goverment that does not need to report to any other government.
BTW, in my opinion, US has a great law and treatment of dual citizenship. Why in a world, we should limit that? In my opinion, with all due respect, we have better things to work on and regulate....for example illegal immigration. Illegal immigration is far more dangerous than dual citizenship.
US law clearly states that once you are US citizen, you owe aligence to US in the first place. You can not claim tax exclusions claiming that you are not citizen, avod serving US, align with the enemy, endager US etc. It is your problem to deal with other governments, and US government clearly states its opion on the matter of dual-citizenship (including State Department Web Site). For example, if your other government is requiring you to pay taxes on US income, it is YOUR problem to deal with it, and keep other passport in your hand if that is what you like to do. In other words, you need to pay for the music.
If someone would like to have 10 citizenships (and can be done legally) and have it work for him/her, let it be, as long as this person is not a threat to our society, pay taxes etc.
I'm not sure why it would be personally advantageous for someone to have 10 citizenships?
Frankly speaking, I only know 1 person with max 3 citizenships, few with two and majority with one, and it all makes sense to me.
US has the most perfect dual citizenship approach in the world. Other countries would love to have it....
Do not sweat the small stuff....Dual citizenship is positve thing and help us in majority of cases.
If you would like to fix something about citizenship, that would be the fact that the children of illegal or non-immigrants born in US are US citizens. In my humble opinon, this should be reserved only for children of US citizens. Otherwise, this will be a cheap way to trick the system. Ask yourself, why so many foreigners (non-immigrants and illegals) deliver their babies in US? Even in some cases, they make special trips just to do that.
Actually, there is a consitutional amendment in the House and Senate on this matter (children of foreigners born in US). Probably, it will not pass due to complicated consitutional process, but it makes a lot of sense to me. On the other hand, did not hear anything about dual-citizenship changes from Congress.
This is my 2c.
