Sorry if this question was asked already. I am little curious to know whether USCIS customer Service people know about our name check status like if it is completed or in progress..
I called USCIS customer support today (06/06/2005) and inquired whether my name check has been completed. There was a lady on the other side who read the message about I-485 process times from my online I-485 status posted on the web. When I repeated about my name check status,she says there is no message about my name check on the system.
My question is , do these reps have access to this confidential info? Its been 10 months since mine and my family's I-485s have been filed with VSC. I am not sure these people do have access to that kind of info. I am little worried since we are only few weeks away from adjudication. Please post your comments, whether I am right or wrong.
