Does the RFE go to the lawyer or applicant?

I checked my on-line status after obtaining my case number from my lawyer, and it shows I have an RFE which was mailed on June 29 with an LUD of July 1 (VSC - NIW). I have not received the letter. Is the RFE letter supposed to go the lawyer or applicant? How long does it typically take to get it?

The RFE usually goes to the lawyer. The mail takes about 1-2 weeks to arrive.

Who gets the receipt number, RFE, approval notice

I have heard that RFE and approval for I-140 (EB1-EA, EB1-OR, EB2-NIW) comes through email. Who gets these emails. Is is the company, or lawyer, or the GC application.

It depends on who created the account on the CIS website, the customer or the legal representative.

In my case ...

I-485 RFE only went to my lawyer.

I-140 approvals went to both me and my lawyer.

Are you talking about filing I-140 online through USCIS website. Please let me know.
