Does the GC/Approval Stamp even has employer name on it?

Hi All,

We have discussed so many times whether it is safe to change jobs immediately after GC or not, and its potential implications during citizenship review.

But does the GC/Approval stamp even has the employer name on it? If not, I find it hard to believe that the CIS would do a detailed review of the file during citizenship to figure out the sponsoring employer name/job change timeline.

For the lucky ones already approved, please let us know.

regards,

Thanks. What about the plastic card? Does that has employer name?

Absolutely not. GC is your card and it's your personal card. It has nothing to do with employer.

Maybe they will check your tax return during the citizenship process? It would be very easy to see when you changed your employer...
