Does status change after doing FP?

Done the FP today. Will my status change to show my FP are done? If not, how can I check my case keeps moving forward?

I was looking on trackitt for cases similar to my timeline and I noticed that after FP, assuming all is well, most people are getting an email/text within 4 days saying that they have been placed in line for interview. The actual interview scheduling/letter may take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months depending on your DO.

Technically, no. The next stage after FP is being placed in line for an interview. However, this can only happen after all the background checks, including the FBI Name Check, are completed.
These days, for most applicants the FBI Name Check gets completed in a few days, but in some cases it could be a few weeks or a few months.
After the background checks are done, your online case status should get changed to "placed in line for interview scheduling".
