Does Specific Travel Date on AP Application Matter?

I have seen people have mentioned 'multiple trips" or "as soon as possible" for travel dates on the AP application form? My lawyer was insistent on putting specific dates (albeit tentative) while applying for AP - would specific dates make a difference over not apecifying anything? Any experiences?

You specify the date or any date they don’t care and will take the same time for AP approval. Many will put the date of departure in 2 weeks? Do you mean they approve AP in 2 weeks or before the date you specify? Answer is no, they will take the same time
* one shoud tick for "multipal entry" so that person can use the same AP if any trip before AP expires
