Does RFE have receipt date?

Hi All,
Two weeks ago My lawyer told me I got a RFE about legal status in US from the first entry US to the day submitting I-485, and I prepared the appropriate documents (such as I-20, H-1, pay stub...) and sent to lawyer.
My lawyer told me he sent to TSC last week. But there's no receipt date issued by USCIS for RFE.
Is it right?
By the way, my online message didn't say anything about RFE either (Only my lawyer told me there's a mail from TSC about my I-485 RFE)

Looking forward to your reply!

Thanks.

There is nor receipt date issued for RFE. U have to monitor the online message. When the officer concerned receives it you will see you message change to "We rceived your resposnse blah blah".

Cheers

Tanjar,
Thanks for your reply.
Last night, when I did online checking, the status has been changed to:
Current Status:

On December 30, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 850 and 900 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

Does this mean my case will be approved very soon?

Hlin4,

Can u please post some details of your RFE, officer # who issued RFE,ND/RD etc. There have been cases where approvals for RFE cases were received in 1 week and there also cases where people are waiting for several months.

Cheers

thanks Hai for your information, it can be helpful to others too. Of course none of us know what the USCIS will do, but it does seem like you are getting closer to a decsion- we will all keep our fingers crossed for you in the new year.

Thanks a lot for your good wishes!
