Does refusal of Non-immigrant Visa affect DV?

I got the B1 (business visa) refused a couple of days a go because I am the winner of DV-2008 (the computer shows...). My purpose of travelling was for a conference but the interviewer said while I am processing migrant visa (DV), I am not entitled for the non immigrant (short term Visa). It seems silly, but is there any one with the same experience? Do you think this refusal affects my DV process? Thanks and best of luck...:)

No, it won't affect your DV process.
