Does one need to file 2002 tax first for interview in late March.

My wife got interview late March at US Consulate for follow to join case. Lawyer asked me to send last 3 yrs tax return paper.

Question is do I need to file 2002 tax before interview? Or 1999, 2000 and 2001 tax return would be good enough with 2002 W2.

If you have not filed 2002 tax return by March end, you can still send tax returns of previous 3 years. There should be no problem.

No.

This is some added info that you are carrying with you for your own personal satisfaction. But actually they dont be needing this. So if you want you can carry your W2 for your satisfaction.
