Mine was transferred to Baltimore last 4/27.
Details: ND 10/00 FP 12/00.

For anyone with past experience in interviews
particularly in Baltimore, do you really need
to bring lawyer during the interview?

Any comment/suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.

My ND is 10/12/00 and FP is 12/27/00. I received the
Transfer Notice from INS yesterday (5/2) saying that
our (mine & family) papers were transferred to Baltimore
on 4/27/01. I\'m not sure if my lawyer received a copy
too.

Maybe you will in about a week or so. Goodluck.

Although my lawyer seemed to say that you need to take a lawyer with you only if you were requested to, I gather from most posts here that it is a smart thing to do. Just in case something comes up. The way I see it, you are at the last step to freedom, after all these years. Why take a chance now!

Good luck

Is is good/bad for us?
Looks like good as they started touching our file so early,
interview will be definately before then that would have been
throgh w/o transfers..Keep posted about interview date.
All the best.

I just checked today. Yes, the AVM message changed,
saying that my application was indeed transferred to
Baltimore and any future inquiries should be made
to that office.

\'Hope this helps.

could some-one explain me about several month???

I guess they say that to be in safe guard.
Actually, no one can say for sure how long it
would take but I hope it\'ll be sooner.

Based on this site, I see that you get interview
appointment in about 2-3 mos. My friend got
interviewed only after 6 weeks of transfer (and
approval immediately after interview) but note
that her ND is 9/99!

I\'m not so sure now though if still going to take
about 2-3 months. It still depend on Baltimore
office\'s current workload.

Let\'s hope for the best.

BTW, are you planning to bring your lawyer with you?

P.S. I already posted my details at your request
at the other discussions. Keep in touch.
