Does NVC accept - Laminated Birth, Marriage Certi

Hello Guys,

My spouse is planning to petition for myself (I-130 Consular Processing).

Her Birthcerti and Our Marriage Certi are LAMINATED.

Is it going to be a problem when we submit orignal's to NVC with DS-230 ?


All Suggestion are welcome...........

any reason for them not to ?
shouldnt they accept it, laminated or not laminated , as long as its not fake , it should serves the purpose.

If it's laminated than they can not verify it, that's many people here suggested................but I don't understand how can't they verify it..........They can call in if they want to......and they can verify by REGISTRATION NO. .....

That's the same question rumbling in my mind since I read posts in visajourney and immigrationportal. I found 2 people who have said that their lamintaed BC or MC have been accepted. But never find a single person who have experience of NOT ACCEPTED.
